We are seeking a positive, passionate, and motivated Physics/Science teacher to join our school in a full-time teaching position. In collaboration with the MYP coordinator, you will be an integral part of building the aforementioned subjects’ units and designing a meaningful curriculum that engages learners.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will:
· Hold relevant teaching qualifications and possess proven teaching experience; international experience is a plus.
· Have experience teaching Integrated Sciences and/or Physics.
· Possess knowledge of modern educational theories and the IB pedagogical framework.
· Demonstrate strong collaborative and interpersonal skills.
· Model an inquiry approach to teaching and learning.
· Have experience implementing technology into inquiry-based learning.
· Enjoy teaching and working in an internationally-minded environment.
· Be of C1/C2 English language abilities.
Ďalšie požiadavky
Responsibilities:
Along with fulfilling full-time teaching requirements (max. 23 contact hours), responsibilities for this position include:
· Documenting the inquiry, action, and reflection portions of each unit on the Toddle App (similar to Edupage)
· Maintaining subject overviews for your taught subject(s)
· Actively participating in a weekly individual collaborative planning meeting with the MYP Coordinator
· Engaging in a horizontal/vertical weekly planning meeting with MYP staff
· Performing duty care as outlined by the school’s duty schedule
